The website “Aid For Ukraine” has been launched to crowdfund crypto donations for the benefit of Ukraine’s military and humanitarian needs.
Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital transformation has joined hands with crypto exchange FTX and staking platform EverStake to launch a crypto fundraising website called “Aid for Ukraine.”

“Aid for Ukraine” has been launched to facilitate humanitarian aid and help bolster the armed forces of Ukraine. As per sources, FTX will convert the crypto funds received globally into fiat currencies and later transfer them to the National Bank of Ukraine.
“This marks the first-ever instance of a cryptocurrency exchange directly cooperating with a public financial entity to provide a conduit for crypto donations,” the official website states.
Staking platform EverStake is also an active part of the said collaboration. The platform will enable the website to add more cryptocurrencies to its portfolio, allowing Ukraine to receive donations in diverse cryptocurrencies.
“The website also makes it possible to add more cryptocurrencies to the initiative thanks to the involvement of Everstake, the biggest decentralized staking provider in the industry.”
The official website has listed new cryptocurrencies through which users can make donations to Ukraine. Global crypto users will now be able to make donations in Bitcoin, Ether, Tether, Polkadot, Solana, Dogecoin, Monero, Icon, and Neo N3. The website further states that it accepts payments in fiat currencies as well.
Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov posted the website on his telegram channel, stating, “We are raising funds for cyber defense, information counteraction to Russian propaganda and technical assistance to the Armed Forces,”
“Crypto-assets proved extremely helpful in facilitation of funding flows to the Amed (sic) Forces of Ukraine,” added Alex Bornyakov, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation.
The crypto funds received via Ukraine till now have been used extensively to bolster the Ukrainian army requirements as well as to aid common people suffering due to the unprecedented war crisis. As per sources, the Ukrainian government has utilized the crypto funds received till March 1st to buy 5500 bulletproof vests and 410,000 packed lunches, and 500 helmets.
