Popular football tournament league FIFA announced that it has signed an official sponsorship deal with crypto.com, allowing the exchange to spread cryptocurrency awareness among the global audience.

Crypto.com Partners With FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™

In an official statement, FIFA announced that it has partnered with the leading crypto exchange Crypto.com, enabling the exchange to become its official cryptocurrency trading platform sponsor of Qatar 2022™.

The announcement further states that the crypto exchange will benefit from “significant branding exposure” both within and outside of the tournament allowing crypto.com to earn exclusive global coverage.

As per the data acquired from its official website, the FIFA world cup finals held in 2018 had garnered nearly 1.12 billion global viewers. The following partnership intends to spread global crypto awareness by leveraging its cult viewership. The tournament is set to commence on November 21st, 2022 in Qatar.

Speaking about its partnership with crypto.com, Kay Madati, FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer stated:

The exchange will also utilize its sponsorship deal with FIFA in diverse ways including providing new opportunities to old and new users to attend matches during the tournament or win exclusive FIFA merchandise.
